A private, member-owned club on Long Island's Gold Coast, the Huntington Country Club is a community driven club where members beget new members. Established in 1910, the Club celebrated its Centennial year with a beautifully renovated Clubhouse, entering a new century of gracious service and enjoyment for its members and their guests.
The Huntington Country Club is an oasis for its members offering a respite from everyday life with a relaxing warmth that truly lets you feel at home, and provides something for every member of the family. We are a continuously evolving club, adapting to changing times while honoring the traditions laid forth by our founding members.
The Golf Program at Huntington Country Club is extremely active. A Devereux Emmet design, Huntington Country Club is sought out and respected for its tradition of great golf, history in the area and camaraderie among its members.
Active 18 and 9 Hole Ladies programs include clinics throughout the season, weekly play days and tournaments, and a competitive WMGA Interclub Team. Men's and Senior Leagues, tournaments, and special events highlight the season, as well as Mixed Tournaments.
Junior Golf program offers various levels of instruction, as well as a Junior Play Day, Interclub Team, PGA Jr. League Team, and popular combined golf/tennis programs
Practice areas include a multi-level golf range, short-game practice area and putting green. The Golf House practice facility is equipped with state of the art video instruction and club fitting, allows members to hit balls in all weather
The PGA Professional and staff provide service and advice in providing golfing supplies, attire, and instruction.
The Huntington Country Club is a stand-out among New York area Clubs for its expert teaching staff and professionally maintained Tennis and Platform Tennis facilities. We have an active membership boasting many social events, programs and tournaments.
Featuring 4 Har-Tru Tennis courts supporting four women's interclub teams, men's interclub match play, junior clinics, junior combined golf/tennis programs and junior interclub team match play.
5 lit and heated world class Platform Tennis courts support six women's interclub teams, Four men's platform teams, Robust Juniors program, and clinics for all skill levels.
Past and future host to the American Platform Tennis Association National Championships and host to many annual APTA and LIPTA events along with the coveted Duane Hayden invitational.
The Racquets Professional and staff provide an array equipment, from paddle, pickle and tennis, to attire for summer through winter sports.
The well-appointed clubhouse provides multiple areas for member dining and a varied roster of member social events throughout the seasons.
