Membership

Huntington is a private country club. Its golf and tennis facilities are among the most desirable on Long Island, and the platform tennis facility has hosted multiple national championships. The golf course was designed by Devereux Emmet and was built in 1910. It has become known as one of the best in the New York area. The clubhouse was recently fully renovated, and the new dining facility has proven to be very popular. The club has excellent youth programs for golf, tennis, and platform tennis.

Membership in the club must be approved by the Board of Directors, and each prospective new member must have a member sponsor and additional member support.
